In this chapter Hazel learns that
she doesn't really want to kiss Gus, even know she likes him and has had a
crush on him since she first met him in a support group. Earlier in the book
Hazel went to a picnic with Gus and he leaned in like he was going to kiss her
but just put his hand on her face, but when he did that she tensed up and Gus
pulled his hand back. This is when she made her realization.
Then the whole night that is all
Hazel could think of, she couldn't sleep because she just wanted to know if she
was did the right thing by not kissing him. Hazel ended up calling her best
friend Kaitlyn and told her about Gus, Kaitlyn ended up knowing who he was and
she liked him too, well she thought he was cute. I didn't get to the end of the
chapter yet but, I think that Hazel will want to kiss him and then she will
actually end up kissing Gus because she has liked him for a while.
